Catawba College Recycles Food Waste 

Catawba College located in Salisbury, NC is working with Gallins Farm to compost all of the food waste from their dining hall. With their composting initiative and other green programs in the works, Catawba College is setting the bar high for sustainability on college campuses in North Carolina.

Greenhouse Complete

Despite the sleet, rain, snow, and 70+ mph winds this month we were able to build our greenhouse and put the cover on! The greenhouse will be used as a germination house and for Gallins Farm produce.
